  9. Use of Piracetam in Down Syndrome. International Cooperative Study with the University of Toronto and FDA. When applicable funding will be private and include study on the differential effects of aging in community- based versus institutionalized pat ients with Down Syndrome.
  10. Targeted Nutritional Intervention in Down Syndrome. The use of a multivitamin/digestive enzyme/amino acid/fatty acid supplement will be investigated using a double-blindedmethodology.Anticipated funding $630,000 for 2 year study privately funded.
